OBTAINING TITLES: BUYERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING TITLES UPON RECEIVING PROPER DOCUMENTATION FROM GREENSBORO TRANSPORTATION DEPT. TIME & LENGTH OF TITLE PROCESS IS UNKNOWN. Titles will not be given to the buyer on site. A bill of sale will be filled out and returned to the Greensboro Transportation Dept. The Greensboro Transportation Dept. will then report the sale and order directing transfer of vehicle title to the court. Following approval from the court, the Greensboro Transportation Dept. will mail the order directing transfer to the buyer. Buyer will need to take the order to the DMV to apply for a title.
