When you interview auction companies you will find our personnel include experienced appraisers, auctioneers, brokers, clerks, bid assistants, bookkeepers, foreclosure specialist, set-up crew, land developers and support staff. Together we make a dedicated team committed to making your auction a success.

Our auction company has auctioneers that are licensed in several states. Various staff members have mastered the concepts to earn the AARE (Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate), CAI (Certified Auctioneers Institute), CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), ALC (Accredited Land Consultant), ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) and AMM (Auction Marketing Management) designations. We are members of the Virginia, North Carolina, and National Auctioneers Associations and/or the North Carolina and Virginia, and National Associations of REALTORS. We are Virginia Auctioneers, North Carolina Auctioneers, South Carolina Auctioneers and have associates nationwide.

There are two sides to the auction business. One is showmanship. This is the part that many people see when the auctioneer is calling bids and the bid assistants are yelling out bids from participants at the auction. We do believe our auctioneers are not "just fast talkers" but "market makers". While we believe we are very good at this side, about 90% of our time will be on the business side. The business side is all the steps necessary to prepare for the auction. It includes property inspections, meeting, planning, development, accounting, taking photos and videos, loading catalogs, pushing announcements to websites, handling inquires and much more. It is much more time consuming than the actual auction itself. Our firm also conducts online auctions for all types of assets.

In addition we have staff appraisers for heavy machinery, agriculture machinery, plant equipment, furniture, fixtures and other assets.
